How often do I need to replace Bosch 640565 Filter?

- It is recommended by Bosch that you replace this filter every 6-months or 300 gallons of usage (whichever comes first). In cases when there is an apparent change in taste or odor of your drinking water you may consider replacing it earlier.

Do I need to turn the water supply off before replacing the filter?

- No, you do not need to turn-off the water supply before replacing the filter. However it is a good idea to place a towel under the filter as there could be some drips while removing the filter
