46-9915 Kenmore filters are used on Kenmore branded bottom freezer and side-by-side freezer refrigerators and are located on the lower left side of the refrigerator on the grill.
Kenmore Refrigerator Water Filter model# 46-9915 is discontinued. Kenmore refrigerators using this filter are manufactured by Whirlpool for Sears-Kenmore Brand.
To replace Kenmore Refrigerator filter 46-9915 you can use either Whirlpool OEM Filters EDR6D1B Alternatively SpiroPure SP-WP600 filters.
It is located on the lower left side of your refrigerator on the grill and removed by quarter turn counter-clock wise.
It is removed by turning the knob on the filter counter-clock wise by 1/4 turn.
Whirlpool filters are now color coded and EDR6D1B - FILTER6 has a navy blue colored circle on the label where number "6" is located denoting Filter-6.
