Whirlpool 4396710 refrigerator water filter fits Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag, Amana,Jenn-Air, IKEA and Kenmore side-by-side refrigerators that have a push-button release filter located in the grille at the left-bottom part of the fridge.
The Whirlpool 4396710 filter is a newer, improved version of the older Whirlpool 4396841 filter. 4396710 has better filtering capability compared to 4396841. It filters out Cysts, Turbidity and Asbestos as well.
If you are currently using the 4396841 filter, you may upgrade to 4396710 as long as you do NOT see the words “Fast Fill“ or “PUR Measure“ on your water dispenser. If you do see either of these words on the dispenser, you need to use 4396841 filter to maintain the fast fill flow-rate.
