How can I pay for my order?

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express as well as PayPal.
  • If you prefer so you can also pay by Cheque or use E-transfer for your payments.  Your order will be released upon our receipt of your cheque or E-transfer. Details about how to make these payments are provided during the checkout process.
Shipping

How much is shipping?

  • All orders over $99 ship free unless some other form of Expedited Shipping is selected during the checkout process
  • Orders under $99 ship for $11.99 – 24.99 depending on the province the order is shipping to and the type of shipping method selected. Click here for more information on shipping.
  • Depending on the warehouse location the order will be shipped from and its destination, we may use alternative carriers including Purolator, Loomis or other local courier services.

How do I select the right filter for my refrigerator?

  • Our OEM fridge filters are sorted by the brand and the part number for each respective filter. The part number can be found directly on the filter that is in your fridge. If you have any questions, fill out our contact form or call us at 1-888-902-5024.

Do refrigerator water filters expire?

  • Fridge filters do not expire and have an unlimited shelf life if not exposed to water and kept dry.

How often should I change my fridge filter?

  • Refrigerator filter should be replaced every six months at a minimum. However, if you find that the taste, smell, or color of your water has degraded before six months, you should replace it immediately.

What happens if I don’t change my fridge filter?

  • Making sure that you replace your filter on time is extremely important. Aside from the bad taste, there a variety of pollutants, pathogens, and minerals that are often found in unfiltered water that can pose health risks.

What are the contaminants found in unfiltered water?

  • Using an old refrigerator filter means that you are getting unfiltered tap water. There are various contaminants found in unfiltered water including lead, selenium, chlorine, microbial cysts, pesticides, sulfate, VOCs, and much more.

How do I install a replacement refrigerator filter?

  • It depends on the refrigerator; most detailed instructions are included on respective product pages for the filters. Please check and follow the instructions located on the product pages. If there is no instruction available, please contact us and we will get you the details.

Can water filters be recycled?

  • Unfortunately there is no specific recycling program for water filters. Based on the feedback we obtained from our customers, in some jurisdictions it was advised that water filters should be sorted into the plastic recycling materials and the activated carbon material that exists inside the plastic canisters would be eliminated together with other impurities during the shredding process.
