A: It is recommended by Frigidaire that you replace this filter every 6-months or 200 gallons of usage (whichever comes first).

A: No, you do not need to turn-off the water supply before replacing the filter. However it is a good idea to place a towel under the filter as there could be some drips while removing the filter.
